My son has been playing "Super Guy" for as long as I can remember, and we usually tie his blankie around his shoulders for the cape. Obviously its very hard to fly with a blankie, its just too heavy. We found an awesome company that makes totally customizable superhero capes for kids (and adults). There are still some wrinkles in the second photo, he didn't even give me a chance to iron it first, he had to put it on! And the cape is so easy for him to put on and take off all on his own because it closes with velcro. Powercapes also offers masks and blaster cuffs to complete the outfit!
I actually had a hard time deciding on the colors for Maddox's cape, there are just so many to choose from. Powercapes are also made by moms right here in the U.S.A. They also have a fundraiser program for schools, non-profits, clubs, daycares, etc.
