Money and Making Change Review and Giveaway (Rock 'N Learn)

My kids love the Rock 'N Learn series DVDs.  They're colorful and the songs are catchy, ant they really remember what they learn from them.  We recently got a chance to review the Money and Making Change DVD, which is perfect for young kids who are learning about counting money.  Money is sometimes hard to explain to kids, and it seems very confusing to them, but this movie really simplifies it so that they can grasp money counting and recognizing more easily.  The main characters in the DVD are  Penny and Bill, and the movie is full of cool songs and games which give plenty of practice with real-world money skills. Even my son who is 3 loves to watch it and is starting to recognize the different coins. The DVD teaches about coins and how they relate to one another, strategies for counting coins and bills, “skip counting,” expressing money in written terms, strategies for making change, and more.
